Owen Omogiafo has her descent from Benin City, where she also had her primary, secondary, and university education. She was born in the year 1981.
Owen Omogiafo obtained a B.Sc. degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin and an M.Sc. degree in Human Resources from the London School of Economics and Political Science. In addition, she is a Harvard-trained executive, a certified Change Manager, from Prosci Institute, USA, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK.
Owen Omogiafo Career
Mrs. Owen started her career journey with bond bank in 2003 as a relationship manager. In 2004, she became the HP consultant at Accenture and after which she left to become the HR Advisor of the United Bank for Africa in 2008.
Subsequently, in 2010, Owen Omogiafo got an appointment as the HR Director of Heirs Holdings Ltd and later became the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
In 2018, Mrs. Owen left the foundation to assume the role of Executive Director at the Transnational Corporation of Nigeria (Transcorp Plc).
On Wednesday, February 12, 2020, Transcorp Plc announced her as the new President/GCEO of the company. Owen Omogiafo has proven beyond doubt that hard work and consistency truly pa. Her appointment would take effect from the 25th of March 2020.
